20 March 2012:
NECROWRETCH new 7" has now been available for a bit more than a week. I would
like to thank all the persons who's already purchased it. You can find it on
the webshop.
Here is a picture of both versions of the 7":
FYI, a japanese version of the red wax version including OBI strip will
be available in the upcoming days from Record Boy in Tokyo.
Today, the following 7" will be sent to the pressing plant:

Expect a release within a month. Both 7" will come in a regular black wax
version and a limited colored wax version.

Since I'm getting a lot of emails regarding the DISMA demo 12", here is a little
update: the band is now working on the layout so that I hope to send this 12" to

First update in a long time! November, December and January have been really
busy months for me as I moved, quit my job, got a new one, went on vacations
and so on.
Within the next days, the following DR releases will be available in the
shop:
- 09/02/2012: ENTRAPMENT first 7" regular and limited version
- MORBUS CHRON first album 12" regular and limited version
For those who still need KRYPTS and MIASMAL 7", please note that both are
available in the webshop as well as tons of cool items. See below for recent

NECROWRETCH first 7" entitled "Now you're in hell" is about to go to press as
well. It will be released at the occasion of the first German live appearance
of the band along with ASPHYX on Saturday 10 March in Essen:
On another note, I'm proud to announce that I will release in collaboration
with Iron Bonehead and Spikekult Records the upcoming NECROBLOOD (Fr.) 7".
Expect nothing but pure aggression!
Pipeline update:
- DISMA Demo 12": Will be sent to the pressing plant as soon as the band
finishes the layout after their Euro tour with UNDERGANG. The wait
should not be long now ...
- SWALLOWED and KRYPTS: both bands are about to start recording their
first albums, both will be released on vinyl through Detest Records /
Me Saco Un Ojo Records and on Cd through Dark Descent Records. Expect
nothing but outstanding Metal of Death!
- BEYOND is about to record their first 7" Ep. Expect a release of that 7" +
a repress of the now sold out first demo tape in the first half of 2012.
- PUSTULATION: the 7" Ep to be released on Detest Records was recently
recorded. The band is now taking care of the mastering. Expect a release
after the NECROWRETCH 7" Ep.
Details on other releases will be published in due time!
Finally, please note I will put on a gig for DEAD CONGREGATION and INFINITUM
OBSCURE on their Euro tour in April. The Belgian date is Saturday 7 april.

01 November 2011:
I'm very proud to announce that for the very first time a Belgian band is
joining Detest Records roster! This band is called EMPTINESS and has just
recorded its 3rd album called "error".
You can now hear a new track and watch a video clip on the band's page.
While the 12" version will be released through Detest Records, the CD
version will be released through Dark Descent Records. Within a month,
a limited advanced tape will be released as well. This tape will feature
some new trax taken from the new album.

The NECROWCRETCH demos compilation tapes released some days ago is selling
well is should be available in several distros around the world within the
next days/week.
MORBUS CHRON first album was sent to the pressing plant 10 days ago. It

about to be sold out, it will be repressed in early 2012.
- ENTRAPMENT first 7" EP / End October - Early November 2011: After 2
demos tape, the band is now ready to push things one step further!
Here is an update concerning other upcoming releases:
- NECROWRETCH demos compilation tape: featuring both early demos,
this tape should be available within 3 weeks.
- SWALLOWED first album recording will start soon.
- MORBUS CHRON Sleepers in the rift 12" version will be sent to the

- Ola Larsson who's responsible for the DISMA towards the megalith
album cover recently started working on the cover artwork of the

a brand new cover artwork.

Talking about NECROWRETCH, I am happy to announce you that the band has
just allowed me to release 100 copies of a tape featuring its demo's.
Both of them are no longer available so that this compilation tape
will help you to discover the roots of one of the most promising French
Death Metal band! This tape should be ready within a month or two. The
band insists that it is the last time those earlier recordings will be
made available.
STENCH OF DECAY 7" is now back in stock. Same goes for KRYPTS 7".

First of all, please note that I won't have access to my emails as from

festival.

Both BEYOND demo tape and CRYPTBORN Ep tape will be released at Hell's
Pleasure festival. No need to worry, there'll be plenty of each

will be a farewell release as the band ceased to exist in May this year.

as a misprint on the insert has just been noticed. Since we want this
release to be the best possible, we decided to reprint all the inserts.
Please be patient, it won't be long! Thanx for your understanding. This

elsewhere.
Please note that the CD version of the Resurecting in festering slime
comp won't be released on Detest Records. It will instead be released

MIASMAL first full length album 12" is now available:
With such a debut demo and a more than consistent follow up in
form of a 7” EP, Miasmal first’s album couldn’t be another mere
recreational yet well oiled and full fuelled death metal
retrospective killing machine, but a primordial axis when it comes
to defend the legitimacy of the classical Swedish sound, and of the
Stockholm school in particular. The fourth piece’s self titled LP ,
not only compiles and demonstrates their skills and competence as
coagulated inkers of mordant down tuned songs (as already shown on
their previous musical greeting cards) but as a matter of fact it
proves that far away from being stuck in the fictional weakness of
conformism and resting on their own gained laurels, they’ve worked
hard and with dedication instead of remaining dormant. They have
unquestionably found the equilibrium and the formula to grow in
every sense and bring a heavy as fuck slab of obscure wax, the way
everybody expected and wished form them and which has surpassed by
far any expectations.

This year, I'll have the honour to release - in collaboration with
Me Saco Un Ojo Records - the first 12" MLp of the mighty French
Death maniax NECROWRETCH! Check out a medley of the new trax on the
band's myspace.
BOMBS OF HADES will record new trax at the end of February. I will
release them on 7" within the next months.
Within some weeks, I'll release the first demo tape of a new German
outfit. No more details now, stay tuned!
STENCH OF DECAY, KRYPTS and BONE SICKNESS 7" Ep's are at the pressing
plant right now. They should be available in 1,5 month or so.
The recording of MIASMAL first full length album started a couple
days ago. The album will be released in April before the band's US tour.
The repress of MIASMAL S/T Demo 12" is selling well. If you wanna be
sure to get it before it's too late, drop me a line!

MORBUS CHRON and DEVOURMENT 7" are now sold out from me. I still have

BONE SICKNESS 7" Ep is to be sent to the pressing plant this week.
KRYPTS and STENCH OF DECAY 7" will be be sent to the pressing plant
when the STENCH OF DECAY 7" will be ready (instruments are recorded,
vocals should be done next week-end).
A repress of both ENTRAPMENT and PUTRID demo tapes should be available
soon.
I'm proud to announce you that MIASMAL will tour the US next year. They
will - among others - play at the Maryland Death Fest and the Chaos in
Tejas Fest. BONE SICKNESS will open for them on bunch of dates. More to
be announced soon! MIASMAL first full length album will be available
during this tour.

Following the demise of old-school Swedish behemoths CARNAGE, vocalist
and living Death Metal legend Johan Liiva formed DEVOURMENT. These
extremely rare tracks form the only surviving recording documenting the
band's existence; an impossibly dark-sounding rehearsal session featuring
two songs of Swedeath, done the ancient way. Also worth noting is that
some of the other band members later went on to become Furbowl. A true
necrotic feast in its own right, and a slice of musical history craving
its place in the collection of every Death Metal enthusiast!

From the murkiest depth of a cold, misty and rat-infested Uppsala
rehearsal garage hark these purveyors of arcane Death Metal lore.

Morgoth, with a smattering of total Reifert-inspired filth and a
subtle psychedelia in the guitar lead work not unlike that which was
once heard from daring acts such as Carbonized, Abhorrence and Afflicted
in their prime - all performed in the pure, unrepentant old-school way.

but outstanding with interviews of DISMEMBER, GRAVE, EDGE OF SANITY,
PUNGENT STENCH, GRAVE MIASMA, REPUGNANT, STENCH OF DECAY, MASSACRE
and so on! The zine comes with a cd sampler featuring among others

Since some of you wonders if the MIASMAL 7" will be (too) limited and if it

9 April 2010:
Some new items in the distro such as RITUAL TORTURE tape, SWALLOWED and
ENCOFINATION 7" Ep's, etc. Some other items are also back in stock such as
RITUALIZATION and INFINITUM OBSCURE tapes.
MIASMAL 7" will be available within some days whereas GRAVEHAMMER 7" is a bit
delayed due to some issues with the pressing plant.
ENTRAPEMENT first demo tape should be available within 1,5 month.
VETERNUS has just sent me the master of their upcoming Ep. This Ep has been
mixed by Karla of Putrid and is very impressive.
Some maniax are currently working on the first edition of the Kill Town Death
Fest which is supposed to happen in Copenhagen on 16,17 and 18 September this
year. Though being not complete yet, the bill already shows some interesting
stuff such as UNDERGANG, DEAD CONGREGATION, NOMINON, etc. Some DR will also
be there: MIASMAL, ASCENDED, STENCH OF DECAY and KRYPTS. An official website
will soon be launched here. FYI, I'll be present during the 3 days with a

The mighty Voices from the Darkside has recently published reviews of
both ASCENDED Temple of dark offerings EP and VETERNUS first demo tapes.
You can read both reviews here.
I still have copies of that ASCENDED EP on tape for sale. Within short
terms, Nuclear War Now! Prod and Skeleton Plague Records will have copies
for the American market.
Reg. VETERNUS demo: the band's pressing is sold out. I have however been
allowed to sell more dubs of this demo. Those dubs (TDK tapes) will
come with the same insert as the first batch and will only cost 2,5€.
KRYPTS Open the crypt demo 12" test press is about to be ready. Expect a
release in early January.
MIASMAL 7" is about to go to the pressing plant. This Ep will be limited to

strictly limited to 200 copies since both Cd and 12" are or will be
available within short terms. Please note that due to its limitation,
this tape won't be heavily traded. The wonderful cover can be seen in the
Releases section.
The 12" reissue of the first KRYPTS demo - Open the crypt - should be
available within 7 weeks. Once again, I'll release this gemm with the
mighty Me Saco Un Ojo Records (UK). All trades, wholesales and most of the
retail will be assumed by my partner. No pre-order please.
MIASMAL S/T Demo 2008 picture disk will go at the press after the NWN
fest. It's gonna be a very limited release. Don't worry, there is no
commercial goals behind this release, let's just say I owe the band
something. I'm collaborating with Nuclear War Now! for this release.

requests must be sent to my partner in crime. I will have a bunch of

I have finally received a large bunch of copies of the KRYPTS first
demo on cdr (slim case - good looking cdr). Check out my distro section.
Within some weeks, the tape version of the newt ASCENDED MLP should be

ABHORROT's sick minds are currently finishing the recording of their

the band's first 7" EP in early 2010. At this occasion, the band's

DR roster. Some months ago, the band released its first demo featuring

First of all, the problem which occured during the duplication of
the second batch of STENCH OF DECAY tapes is now behind me. I'm now
catching up with all pending traders and orders.
Talking about STENCH OF DECAY, I'm incredibly happy to announce you
that I'll be re-releasing (in collaboration with a soon to be created
label) their "Where Death and Decay reign" demo on 12" in September
of this year. This 12" will feature a new artwork. Pre-orders are
now OPEN from me.
A bunch of STENCH OF DECAY tee-shirts will also be available at
the release of this 12".
BTW, I've just posted a review of the STENCH OF DECAY tape. This
review was posted some hours ago on the mighty Voices from the
Darkside. You can read it here. More reviews will be posted soon.
Furthermore, mister Frank Stöver himself has recently made me the

STENCH OF DECAY 2nd demo tape should be out as DR 003 in early May or
something like that. Expect some pure Metal of Death in the purest
Finish tradition. The demo will feature 3 new songs and an ABHORRENCE
(Fin.) cover of the classic "Vulgar necrolatry" tune. This song will
also feature guest vocals recorded by Jukka Kolehmainen, singer of the
mighty ABHORRENCE!
A large distro update (including PUTRID tapes, EXECRATION tapes, Abhorrent
Decay Zines and some Blood Harvest releases)will occur at the time this
tape is available so that you'll have the opportunity to combine orders.
MIASMAL 12" layout is about to be done. This 12" should be out within
the next months. Pre-orders are running fast so don't hesitate to drop
me a mail in order to be sure to lay your hands on this gemm!
As mentionned in the news dated 13 March 2009, PUTRID (Swe.) has recently
joined DR rooster. I intend to release the band's second demo tape within
the next months. An advanced track (Black imp) can alredy by checked on
the band's myspace.

STENCH OF DECAY second demo tape is slightly delayed pursuant to some
recordings issues. Anyway, the tape should be available within 3 weeks.
The sketch of both the artwork and the band's new logo are amazing,
just as the advanced trax.
MIASMAL 12" pre-orders are now accepted.
At the occasion of this new release and for a limited period, "bargain
deals" will be offered. More details soon ...
By the way, I should get a large bunch of Blood Harvest releases (including
BOMBS OF HADES, GODDEFIED, KARNARIUM, BLOODSTONE, GOD MACABRE, etc.) within
short terms. Think about combining shipping!
Finally I'm proud to annouce that PUTRID (Swe. - www.myspace.com/putriddeath)
has recently joined DR rooster. I'm probably gonna release the band's second
demo tape within next months. A bunch of copies of their first demo tape should
be available in my distro section within short terms.

I'm proud to announce you that the next DR release will be STENCH OF
DECAY 2nd demo tape as DR 003. They play old school Metal of Death in
the purest Finnish tradition and I'm 101% sure they'll seduce the fans
of stellar acts such as PURTENANCE, DEMIGOD, CONVULSE and CARTILAGE.
You can already hear one rehearsal track here. Release is set to March
2009.
RUINS and ABHORROT tapes are postponed to later this year as both bands
need more time to finnish their new trax.
The MIASMAL 7" is still scheduled to this year but no precise date is fixed
yet. A new review of their debut demo tape has been added to the site. This
debut demo tape is now sold out from me, but you can always contact me to
know where you can get it from.

Due to some delays mostly caused by problems with my local post office,
